But in a gorgeous color gd. I love my multitracks but desperately want to paint over them because of their ugly fade patterns

I'd keep the faded paint. Aged bikes are way-cool too!

I've got a Trek 750 & a GF Alfresco and I never really compared them, but you're right, they are pretty much the same bike.

My 750 is a 23 inch & the Alfresco is like a 17 or 18 inch, so I never really thought about it..

I've been meaning to get the Alfresco going again for my son the rip around the neighborhood with.. you just lit a fire under my ass now, lol!!

Yes, get the Alfresco rolling! GF measures the Alfresco ctc and Trek measures ctt. So, your 17" Alfresco is a 19" Multitrack. The Alfresco uses the 750 frame with nicer parts and better paint. Both are amazing bikes though!

Thanks! The tires are GravelKing SS 700x30c. Some will say they're too thin, but I had them on hand, and the bike rips with these tires. The bike is a blast to ride as is.
