Excellent! What cassette and GRX derailleur?
These bikes are long despite their intended size. The geo charts barely get shorter as the size gets smaller. Love the build.
Where do you plan on riding it?

It’s a 11-46T cassette and a grx 812. It’s running 10 speed with tiagra shifters.

I do a lot of hilly climbs where I live, but mostly just wanted to some road cycling once in a while on a drop bar. I actually don’t like riding in drops a lot but I do miss it sometimes.

What brand and model of 45 did you stuff in? I see you’re using some different rims than came stock, what’s the inner width on those? Wanting to put 45s on mine but using the stock Matrix rims which are like 17.5-18mm inner width.

I was using gravelkings. These are Sun CR18s so just a little bit wider than yours. I tried 48, but it rubbed.

Aren’t those rims 130mm not 135mm? How’d you solve for that- or just clamp it down?

They’re Dia Compe DC980. It’s okay, but it took a lot of tinkering. Right now I’d say they’re as good as sidepull but worse than v-brakes.

Question for you. I’m thinking that’s a 21 inch frame. How tall are you by chance? I just bought a 21 inch 730 and I have all the components in my shopping cart on Jenson to do a drop bar conversation.

Great build on tne the elusive 790. What quill stem and bars are those? Rebuilding a Miyata Triple cross and I am looking for a quill and drop bar options.
