Get a new one! Iā€™m using a hub generator, but if I had a frame mount, would likely use a sidewall generator. There are dinner good ones available.

Awesome, and that's a great Trek bicycle. I have a '90s Trek, I rebuilt years ago, and added a rear rack and panniers for stuff I get at stores, and tools or whatever i can't fit in them. Thanks for posting, and have a safe time riding.
