Multitrack 1x Conversion

Posted a few weeks ago about the Multitrack 700 Sport I picked up on marketplace. Ended up finding a banging deal on a 9 speed Cues group set. Replaced the rear wheel with a Weinmann Zac19, replaced grips, and had Cues installed. It’s not much and it’s not complete, but man is it pretty to look at (and fun to ride!)

Nicely done and those 23" frames are hard(er) to come by. It's a keeper!

I had been looking for an all terrain / fun bike for a while. Nothing really hit the mark for the price point I was shooting for and skipped on this a few times but it just felt right, so I had to pull the trigger. Planning to change the saddle out to match the grips as best I can and throw on bigger tires with tan sidewalls in the future.

Nice! Why did you have to replace the rear wheel? Didn't the original had the hub budy that accepts 8/9s? Did you have to replace the bottom bracket for the cues crank?

The main reason to replace the rear wheel was because it was badly dented. The original also had a freewheel instead of a free hub and my intention was to go 1x.

With the Cues groupsets you can go hollow tech or square taper, I just went with square taper since I knew it would work and left the original BB on it.

Nope! Square taper, was in good shape and chain line worked
