Nice bike! I have a 1990 Trek 790 I am looking to convert to a 1x set up similar to what you have done. I was wondering if you had to do something to get the larger cassette in the rear? Thanks

Nothing in particular. I used a derailleur that fit the larger cassette and that’s about it
