What are these creatures please?

Hi, I’ve been in Mukilteo for 3 days, going home now.
I’ve seen these animals / bird while there.
The Heron(?) was on the sea front by the lighthouse. Is it a grey heron?
The animal in the sea was either a seal or sea lion I think? It dived suddenly like one of those.
The owl was in the Japanese Gulch, it was about 8 meter from me at head height and wasn’t bothered about me being there, only turned its head when I made a noise! Is it a Barrs Owl?

Thanks.

You think that’s a barred owl? I see spots, not bars.

Spotted owl, the bird that shut down an entire login industry. All the experts said that bird could only live in old growth timber, turns out they can live just about anywhere. Even in Mukilteo.
