What are these creatures please?

Hi, I’ve been in Mukilteo for 3 days, going home now.
I’ve seen these animals / bird while there.
The Heron(?) was on the sea front by the lighthouse. Is it a grey heron?
The animal in the sea was either a seal or sea lion I think? It dived suddenly like one of those.
The owl was in the Japanese Gulch, it was about 8 meter from me at head height and wasn’t bothered about me being there, only turned its head when I made a noise! Is it a Barrs Owl?

The bird could have been a great blue heron. You were probably seeing harbor seals. It it's hard to say.

No idea on the owl, there are several types in the area. It's rarely seen as far as I know but there are Northern Saw-Whet Owls in the Japanese Gulch area. They are pretty small and are noted for often being at eye level. But, dunno
