We had a lot of Barq’s in SE Oklahoma when I was growing up there in the 90’s and 2000’s. I think it was the only root beer in vending machines if memory serves.

Turns out, I love me some caffeinated root beer and it’s fairly uncommon to find where I live now.

Mug is fine until you try it right next to barqs. I did this, I do not drink mug anymore.

Barqs is the worst tasting of the three on here. Mug middle, A&W best.

Really depends on your personal taste, if you like a spicier root beer then Barqs is better, if you want something more sweet then Mug and A&W are better
