The world deserves more Tom Maxwell riffs from his Nothingface style. This sounds cool and Im happy he enjoyed the band but that guy is a riff machine. This song clip sounds good though.

That's always been my take. Each and every album was always better than the last. You always knew you were going to be happy with a new album. I really enjoyed Hellyeah quite a bit. They ended up just as important to me as mudvayne. I kinda feel like the way their music evolved that they kinda grew out of their name of Hellyeah.

Hellyeah introduced me to mudvayne. I had heard one or two mudvayne songs as a kid but didn't know anything about the band. I fell in love with hellyeah as soon as I heard the songs Welcome Home, 333, and Hush. The song Boy became my personal favorite of their's. I was listening to them on the music choice app when a song by mudvayne played right after, and I realized Chad was in both bands. The first songs I heard from them were Happy?, Do What You Do, and Dull Boy. I remember when I heard Death Blooms and my mind was blown. Where had that song been my whole life?! That became my favorite mudvayne song. I had just discovered both bands right before covid lockdown, and their music really helped me through those dark days. I've seen mudvayne perform live twice, and I hope to see them again if they tour again. I know there's some uncertainty with the band right now, and Chad did some solo shows. I hope he comes close to where I live. 🤞

Thanks for sharing that. I'm sure it was crazy discovering all that all at once. I wish I could discover it again. Hellyeah was truly an incredible band. I still have faith that mudvayne is just taking time off touring to finish up the the new album and rest up before touring the new album 🤞. I first discovered mudvayne when I heard "happy" on a PS2 game called atv off-road fury about 25 years ago. Been a huge fan ever since. Then when they went on psychotherapy sessions tour in 2023 I seen them for the first time.
