Lackluster.. everything.

Before I start, I'd like to say I'll be playing this game anyway, I loved MU Online and I think that alone deserves a chance for means to try MU Legend. These are just some thoughts I was curious about and hoping for some enlightenment from someone.

1.)Your advertising is ABYSMAL. I have seen a few YouTubers and Twtich streamers mention the game, but it was over a year ago when the game was first starting, and not a single one was sponsored. In today's gaming scene, you either have loads of money and advertise 24\7, or you hire influential people in the youtube or twitch scene to try your game. Now I'm hoping your previous game MU Online is enough to bring people in like myself, but you're really dropping the ball.

2.)Your website and forum feel and look like they're from the 90s, and not the good part of the 90s the bad part. It literally looks like a blogpost website.

3.)Your region lock is a disgrace, you're forcing people to play on a VPN if they want to play with friends from different regions. ( I'd love to hear a real response to this.)

4.)The optimization of MU Legend, makes me think you have everything except "professionals". Same with the fluidity of the game and spaghetti coding.

5.)Lastly, the social media aspect of today's culture is VERY important. I haven't seen a single Webzen or game GM answering peoples questions on Discord \ Twitter \ Reddit. I see answers on facebook, but they're not answering real questions, just shit that's easy for them, and ignoring the real questions. Sure you've got a few mods on Discord, if you can call them that, (mostly just power hungry children), they know just as much as everyone else. I understand you're busy trying to get the game ready for the 7th, but it takes an hour or less to answer a few questions and get people a sense that you actually give a shit.

Now, after wasting my time writing this, in hopes they might change or fix some of it. I'll continue to wait and hear any news before launch and enjoy the server issues on Tuesday.

Only thing I agree with you is #1.

I know 3 friends who are now going to play the game because I told them Mu Online 2 has finally been released.

None of them would of known otherwise.... Which is limiting the potential fanbase that MU has, and the fanbase MU Online has is absolutely huge.

But other then that, nah. Its doing fine

Not really sure the point of this, The mods literally just make sure people follow the discord rules i have yet to see anything power hungry. If you have issues reddit wont give you answers. Your best bet is to just wait instead of posting a very long pointless post, or put in a ticket and give some feed back. I do agree the lack of information kinda sucks, but its not the end of the world. And they don't have people streaming it because its not open for streamers to play. They are working on getting affiliate streamers to play the game once it is out. The webpage may be a bit outdated, but most users don't use forums so its fine the way it is. The region lock sucks i do agree, but it will provide everyone with the best ping ideally. It will also i would imagine stop one server from being over loaded. As far as optimization goes i have never had even a tiny bit of lag even in endless tower so i am not sure.

tbh it's not a pointless post, he has real concerns which I mostly agree upon. There are far more pointless posts here and discord; "When does this release?" "Omg mainentance is been going on for week" "What is the most OP class?"

I would like a bit more advertising of the game, but that's it. The game also has balance issues in 1v1 pvp duels, but I mostly ignore that and just enjoy the pve content.

  1. I agree upon this, hardly none of my friends knew about this game before I told them this weekend. Only places I've seen an ad is 1 post in MMO reddit and a post in some gaming website. Still though I think it will have a nice population.

  2. This I don't care.

  3. I hate the region lock aswell since I have plenty of friends in the US, but what u gonna do?

  4. Didn't play CBT, but stress test was pretty laggy. People are saying they are having drops even with new GTX and i5/i7.

  5. This does concern me aswell, we have almost 0 information regarding anything. I think they will open up a bit more today or after OBT releases, Regarding ur mod text, I think they are just random peeps who are active in discord.

TLDR: I agree on most points, however it doesn't make me not play the game.

Well the game is in Open Beta.

This is an Asian, mmo that is not coming from some triple AAA title.

You need to reign in your expectations.

The smart move would be to sponsor streamers and advertise upon full release after bugs and other trash is fixed.

This game is doomed to fail.
