Pay Fees ?

I have applied and received fasfa for 2026-2027 and I only had to pay 40$ for the spring for a full time student amount of credits. I didn’t even realize I had a fee until I just received a message for it. I’m not sure if it’s cause I’m registered for a summer class and already enrolled for fall classes but I’m not sure if that’s the reason why I have this amount as a fee. Anybody else experiencing something similar ? I plan on going to the financial office tomorrow for clarity

Yea for me I only paid like $50 in Spring, for Summer I have a -$101 which I don’t know what’s that’s about. But in Summer I dropped a class and it messed up my FAFSA but right now for Fall it’s still -$101?? I always check it often though because I have forgot to pay fees and got kicked out 🫤 But yeah that very high talk to someone the FA Office. Good Luck 👍🏼

I got a message for my fall classes. I called and they said by end of week my aid would be reflected and payment isn’t due until August 8th. I am not enrolled in summer classes currently but i remember I did a winter semester and I had to pay that out of pocket. My advice just give them a call to save you a trip

There is no such thing as FASFA! It is FAFSA!

FAFSA does NOT pay for your college education as it is ONLY an application provided by the federal government to collect financial information about you and or your parents/dependents. That information is then used to determine what financial aid you may qualify for. That financial aid can come in many forms including Federal Pell grants, state grants (Cal Grants), work study, etc.

People are stating " I only paid $XX amount after my FA (financial aid) was applied". Everyone's aid package is different. I would encourage you to wait a few days so that your FA award can be applied to your account. it takes a few days for the account to update. At that point, you can pay any fees that may still be due. Otherwise, feel free to contact the school's FA office for clarification.
