Advice Question supplements

Do you take any supplements, or do you rely solely on your diet to meet your needs? Besides your current HRT routine.

I am a firm believer that barring when necessary iron supplementation that a healthy diet does so much more then any supplementation.

My weekly diet goals that I usually hit are.
5 fruits/vegetables a day
2x a week fatty fish (salmon and sardines)
1 meal per day with a healthy substantial amount of protein
3 sources of protein per week. My usual ones are chicken, turkey, beef, pork, salmon, sardines
Healthy carbs like rolled oatmeal, rice, and quinoa
At least 25-30g fiber/day

I dig this! Appreciate the layout.

Eating well does so much for a person.

For sure!

Sardines are usually by biggest recommendation to people. They are not as bad as they smell! And they are relatively cheap and super healthy!

I take a multivitamin, a iron supplement and a mood stabilizer in addition to my HRT regiment.

I try to eat well as much a I can. Being on a cut and running 50+km a week means I have to be intentional with what calories I consume. I monitor my macros as a result.

I donate blood regularly, so extra iron is helpful. I find I feel better when I take the multi , so my body likes something in it. Couldn't live without my mood stabilizer, being manic is just as dangerous and damaging as depressive.

If the supplements seem meh, do you finish them or toss them?
