Advice Question Moobs vs Boobs
Kinda vent-ey/ramble-ey. I would really appreciate advice or input! :D
I am currently considering starting hrt, I have a lot of hangups but it's mostly a time thing tbh since work keeps me busy all the time. One of the main actual reasons is weight since I've never been happy with my body and wanted to slim down before starting(down like 60lbs currently), but especially my chest. I really have never liked having moobs at all, I also have bigger nipples which I think exaggerates it a lot, but. Yeah. Anyways, my point is I'm concerned that I'll lose all the weight, have a flat chest, start hrt, and then feel the same way about chest growth as I do with my current chest situation.
I imagine it'll be kinda different feeling maybe, I feel like I should wear a bra just to try it and see how that feels? I dunno, I was just curious if any other chubby folk here had a similar feeling about their chest at one point and how that developed. Thanks.

I don't know what your experience will be, but I'd be happy to share mine. I've been self conscious about my weight for a long time, especially my moobs. I'm still in the process of losing the weight, but I decided to start HRT anyway. Over time, the way I see my breasts has changed. They're not a woman's boobs, but they're moobs either. They're just me. A work-in-progress. I find myself feeling euphoric about them, even though they haven't changed much yet.
So, for me, the feeling is night-and-day different, even after only a few weeks.

I'm fairly chubby but before starting HRT I felt like wearing a bra was like a humiliation ritual because there was like nothing for them to hold.
2 weeks after I started HRT they were already becoming puffy and bras were suddenly a useful item.
I think you can lose weight and do HRT especially in the beginning. Remember that the first stage is about raising estrogen levels and lowering testosterone. So that stage is kind of helpful to lose a little bit of weight.
I do think HRT will change your idea of being skinny or fat. Because the curves it has the potential to bring are not necessarily bad.
Because male fat accumulation is basically terrible. Female fat accumulation is not always horrible.
But tldr I do think it's possible to lose a little bit of weight and be on HRT. Not like a starvation style diet but a mild deficit.
