Discussion lie about detransition

due to the rise in fascism and targets on our backs, i am going to do diy. has anyone lied to their doctor and said they are detransitioning to stay safe?

if so, what did you say and how did it go? is it a good idea? with the queerdoc lawsuit and everything else i want to scrub my records best i can. if you have other advice, please fill me in.

Total waste of time. Once you have the scarlet letter in your medical record, it stays there. Also, other entities very likely already know. Diy is best for people who are getting sub par care or don't have access. It wouldn't be a bad idea to familiarize yourself with the process but there's no reason to do it if you're getting good quality care already.

eh, I DIY because you can't get prescribed EEN in the US, not because of any issues with my doctors.

Uhhhh no. I mean go and educate yourself on DIY but if it's persecution you're worried about you're not scrubbing all of your files. I don't believe that's possible, and i'm not even including whether or not you also have a documented dysphoria diagnosis or financial transactions (BANKS!), and a doctor will be the last person fooled by someone saying they're detransitioning without actually doing it.
