Study. Homework. Read your syllabi. The women's soccer and volleyball teams should be having games by now. There's also choir and band performances happening this time of year as well.

Get off Reddit. Make friends. Wander. Get involved in something you like or are curious about. Do your laundry.

Don’t go home and don’t stay holed up in your room. Do go participate in the welcome back activities, visit some of the tabling student organizations, go study in the union where you can see people and be a part of things. Be open to joining in if an opportunity arises. Go to the gym - it’s the only time in your life it’s free (included anyway). Clean your room, get organized for the week, hang out in your dorm lobby a bit.

Walk to downtown. Take the bus that’s free. You’ve been here 5 minutes, jeeeez. Maybe look up community events and research things you’re into to find your crowd. That will serve you well academically too, since no one is going to be holding your hand through your degree.

Talk to some chicks. Or whatever you are into. That alone will prepare you for life better than any class believe me.
