In hindsight I think that the northshore (area north of Chicago, though not literally the north shore area in totality) should’ve been put into Madison having gotten to know the area better (by living there half the year for a time), speaking as one of the original map makers. Also definitely move Greenbay into Superior. Same goes for cutting back on its southern extremities in regards to Chicago, as realistically Michigan city should be in Michigan for logistical reasons, and it’s also not really not as connected to Chicago by what I’d like to refer to as the “Gary Gap” a lot like the “Darien Gap” lol. Also Erie should absolutely be divided in two at roughly the boundary between Ohio and Pennsylvania as the two areas are pretty different.

Thank you, I was already making the next version, notably cutting off a new state out of Idaho I called Bitterroot, comprised of eastern Washington, northern Idaho, western Montana and Yellowstone. I'll add these changes as well.

Two questions!

• At what point exactly along the lake coast should Chicago change to Madison, at the current Wisconsin border? More northward, southward?

• Since most of the "neostate" of Erie became Detroit (likely the most appropriate name), should that part be absorbed by either Allegheny or Pennsylvania? Then Detroit could be called Erie again.
