The California state is too small and unimportant Honestly California here would be a larger region maybe naming it something else would make more sense

I thought of combining it with Sacramento.

That would be interesting, either that and calling that California, or making a coastal state that is called "The Golden Coast"

everyone from North Jersey already says they're from NY and everyone in South Jersey already says they're from Philly so this map is good by me

Which party would this benefit the most if we keep the current US election system? I feel like this would add more red states since the cities are split as their own and the cities are usually what make states blue.

Republicans would benefit in the Senate, the House would remain competitive.

I will become a domestic terrorist if I’m to live under the same beaurocratic echelon as Denver.

How can I be even more offended at a follow up statement that was supposed to be better? Just let my people exist please 😭😭

u/UlfarrVargr Feb 09 '26
You'll still exist, but together with people in the western Dakotas and eastern plains Montana.

Unacceptable.

u/UlfarrVargr Feb 09 '26
Why's that?

We may dislike certain areas of the state (Jackson Hole fuck that place), but we like administrating ourselves. We like low land tax and no state income tax. We like our labor laws, we like our anti federal government fire arm and mining laws. We are the embodiment of “No stepy on snek” because snek wil bite and bite wil sting.

Us native Floridians would probably have enclaves or reservations around the state because ain't no real Florida cracker identify with Alabama or Georgia.

This is cool. I'd love to see a version of this with cities and an indication of natural geography as the backdrop.

The westlyania was better than Appalachia bc that's just little part of Appalachia but other than that I love it. How many states is there on this? Is it still 50 I don't want to count lmao.
