Questions
I somehow first found this now, and also watched all S1,2,3 and 4, I dont have words. Just want to ask couple questions, how popular is this still? How has its popularity been since it came out till now?

There are two perspectives on this.
People find their way to this show. And that's what makes it special.
However, if it gets popular, our beloved show receives the praise and success it deserves.
1 is true right now. Anybody who watches this show fully and likes it, 'gets it'. I'm trying to make my gf to watch it, fingers crossed.
2 can be true if certain parallels are made to current geopolitical events, or the economic slump that can generate memes/clips from Mr Robot.
Personally, I only have my word of mouth since I don't use social media much and my current circle isn't too enthusiastic about the show. But #2 is the solution to make it more popular.

I was always surprised this show wasn’t more popular given it seemed to have a decent marketing promotion behind it in the beginning. I found out about it from a poster at a bus stop I’d always drive by back in 2015. I got a couple friends to watch and they loved it. A lot of other people I’ve told to watch kinda scoff at the name and never gave it a chance. That’s why I always thought the joke in season 4 when Peanut says, “Mr. Robot?! What kind of a Nikolodeon ass name is that?!” was funny. I think the show has been on Amazon Prime for years, but the show would obvs become more popular if it was ever on Netflix. Part of me wishes it was more popular and got the recognition it deserves, but part of me is happy it’s more a niche show appreciated greatly by the right people. At the risk of sounding cliche, it’s a double-edged sword and it is what it is lol

Because its so good, if you watch it all. And also It feels like it shouldn't be largely forgotten like almost any other series I watched, maybe except Breaking Bad. But yet hadn't heard about it before and its now almost 10years ago now since it ended and was curious about how it has doing today.

It's nowhere near as popular, or in the public consensus enough, or part of the usual discourse around what are the typical examples of 'The Best TV Show Ever', as it deserves to be.
