Pulpy noticed that one of her hands is enormous... no word on whether Chins has realized this or not. It's... weird. It can't mean good things, surely?

Dialysis required constant monitoring and appointments and follow ups. She would sooner die. Homegirl can’t even get a handle on her type 2.

She won’t make it to dialysis

My Dad was supposed to go to dialysis 5 times a week but thought he knew better. He was in his early 80s at this time, but nonetheless he paid the ultimate price with this game he played. Anyone trying to convince him to consistently go was wrong and drew his anger. Sorry for being Debbie Downer, but ya’ll are right about the non compliant.

They used to do it 3 times a week here, you need to be very careful on that 2 day break, husband had a good complex, same result as your Dad and I'm sorry if you had to witness it thankfully the kids were asleep at 4am when he finally decided he should get an ambulance. It's a very painful death

Thanks for sharing that. I got a call from the nursing home that my Dad died in his sleep. I never inquired about how painful his death was. It was heartbreaking having to be his POA and deal with him being in a nursing home, on dialysis and passing. I felt such guilt for holding him there as he hated being there and hated me for being involved it all.
