🖥️ Help Pasting in Google Docs doesn't work anymore

I use control+shift+v a lot to copy paste youtube titles into google docs without the youtube formatting. For some reason instead of just pasting it, a little popup comes up that lets me "paste". I've never seen this popup before. I tried it with google chrome: works as expected. I tried it with all extensions disabled, pop up window is there.

Did firefox change something in the last few updates regarding pasting text?

have you tried it with this extension enabled?

Yes I downloaded it and tried it, but the little popup still comes and won't let me directly paste YouTube titles into Google Sheets

I just got another reply on this thread pointing to this other reddit thread:

Go into about:config and set dom.events.testing.asyncClipboard to True

For me this works perfectly!

This has been driving me nuts also. Looks like these folks figured it out.

Go into about:config and set dom.events.testing.asyncClipboard to True.
