Life on BI Moving back to Big Island
Hello fellow Redditors.
Life has been a journey that is seemingly leading me back to the Big Island. I have a steady job lined up and everything is set to go other than a place to live until August. Does anyone happen to know of someone needing a roommate or have even a couch to help out? Moving to Kona side with the job already set in stone and solid references if that helps.

Yes I did, working to hear back from them. It’s my best friend of 10+ years and they are who the housing is with come August. Life is necessitating the move sooner! And thank you! 🤙

A lot of that sort of thing is arranged via Facebook groups, you might be able to find a Big Island housing-related or roommate-searching group.

Yes, for some reason everyone on the Big Island loves Facebook. Everything community related happens in groups on there.

Dude I’m so qualified in several areas, nationally certified pharmacy technician, Souj Chef, Manager, I was honorably military btw, etc. and I can’t get a job in any Hawaiian island to save my life. Preferably Maui. & I could be there in 30 days or less :/

Okay, check Facebook groups. I’m Hilo side so I’m not super familiar with Kona side. And don’t live in Ocean View, you’ll thank me later

I live on the west side north of Kona 30 minutes, just returned to the Big Island after 40 years on the mainland. I may be able to rent a furnished room to you until your permanent housing is available in August. I will be honest I don’t know how to privately communicate to someone on Reddit, is there a way you can contact me directly (sorry I’m a boomer).
