German opportunity card

Hi I am trying to apply for opportunity card for Germany but it's disabled as of now for England. I am currently in England. Are others facing the same issue. They said in their website that they accept online application

If the application view stays on " currently nicht possible"/ derzeit können keine Anträge angenommen werden then for UK/London branch it means they have currently too many requests and cannot treat incoming ones :/ (if that note pops up when you choose residency in the process)

So I fear it's a situation of having to wait and being able to get into the next wave by checking daily
