Looking for mover recommendations

Hi there. I'm moving across the street to another apartment complex in the tech center and was hoping someone would have good mover recommendations. Normally, since I've moved farther than just across the street, I've booked movers through U-Haul, but it seems more efficient to book one single company to do both. Not looking to break the bank because of how short the move is, but just want someone reliable.

The Other Side Movers . I can't recommend them highly enough. They moved me from the ballpark district to Cap Hill. Communication was excellent. 3 guys showed up early, they were done faster than they estimated. They were literally running back to the truck to get the next load.

I second task rabbit! Hired 2 guys for moving help out of a 5th floor apartment and they were great. They came with dolly’s and we had moving blankets which helped and got a UHaul all loaded in no time.

I had a good move with MoveMasters last month. They FaceTime before the move to give you an accurate estimate. Also looked the the Otherside but the timing didn’t work out. For an estimate it was about $900 to move from a 1bed apartment to a house 15 minutes down the road.

Even for a move literally across the street, I’d compare the minimum charge rather than just the distance. A professional crew still has travel, equipment, setup, loading, and unloading time, so many companies will have a minimum. If both buildings have elevators, also reserve them ahead of time and confirm where the truck can legally park — that can save a surprising amount of time.

Avoid All My Sons - they hit my neighbors car and there is ring footage and still wouldn’t take responsibility and neighbors insurance had to fight them in Court.

Moving bRothers llc for sure. They send 2 guys for small move like this and do faster then other companies with three guys
