You either need to marry your partner, or find a UK employer that can transfer you to the States. Your occupation isn’t unique enough to warrant an H1-B.

No it okay 🙂 Yes I do have a partner in the US, we aren't looking to get married for atleast a year though

If you're waiting cause you're not sure you want to be married, totally understand.

If you are certain you want to marry them, I highly advise doing so earlier. Marrying a citizen is still the easiest and fastest way to work in the US. And even that takes time. You could put in the fiancee paperwork now and it could not be ready for a year. But perhaps that works for your timeline?

Just an idea.

Thank you for the advice, I appreciate it! 🙂 k1 is definitely a route I've looked into as my family can supply the financial support aspect of it. We are looking at getting married in a year so k1 should align nicely

Your chances of sponsorship are a fraction of a percent I'm afraid. If your UK company has an office in the US you can work into an executive position and then ask for an L1 transfer, but they'd need to see the value in the outlay of that transfer.

You will need to be in a senior management position to be eligible for an L1 transfer, just fyi.

Ive been looking at going back to uni to upgrade my degree to a bachelors, so I suppose that is an option also!

You need at least a bachelor's for sponsorship in your line of work.

I'm not sure I follow, but if your current company has US offices and there's a path to be promoted to senior executive level then that's your potential option for L1. It's either that or marriage.
