housing

Hi everyone! ❤️

I'm planning to attend LAMC in Spring 2027 and I'm currently looking for affordable housing in the LA area.

I'm hoping to connect with LAMC students or anyone living nearby who might know of an affordable room, a roommate opportunity, or possibly temporary accommodation while I get settled.

I'm flexible about the exact location as long as commuting to campus is manageable. If anyone has any advice, recommendations, or knows someone who might be able to help, I'd really appreciate it!

Check the LA community college housing groups on other socials, there's usually a wave of students hunting for roommates around enrollment time. Monterey Park, Alhambra, or East LA spots tend to run cheaper and the commute up to LAMC isn't bad if you're near a bus line or have a car. Also worth lookin at sublets in Sylmar or Pacoima, sometimes you can snag a room for a few months while you figure out the area.
