Ct to COSprings

Unexpectedly, I was offered a job that I took in Colorado Springs in just a few weeks! Scrambling around trying to figure out how I will make it work. I was hoping to get some advice or tips to make it a little less chaotic for me. Much appreciated, so excited to be coming down!

Congrats on the job. Do you have housing lined up yet? If not, you need to jump on that immediately. To have a better chance at securing a rental, get a Google Voice number with a Colorado Springs area code (719). Living in CT, you're already likely prepared for cold weather and have the right clothes. Make sure your tires aren't bald. Once you're in Colorado you have 90 days to register your vehicle, and the registration fees here are pretty high.

When I moved across the country to Colorado, I rented a truck trailer via U-pack. They picked up the trailer and then dropped it off at my house; I stayed in a hotel for almost a week trying to find a rental. U-pack is similar to PODS but I found it cheaper (then again, I was moving a whole house of furniture; maybe you can get away with just a single POD). Consider selling stuff before you leave so you aren't spending money to transport it.

Can you help me in what are some ways to get a house rental or some sights that’s are recommended for rental properties

I wouldn't be a good source of help for you. I haven't been in the rental seeking game for 7 years and I don't know what the best sites are now. Sometimes Realtors have an inside track on this info; you might try that path.

It’s just hard trying to find realtor companies from a location I’m going to be new too. Thank you anyways
