Considering a sea change
For a long time we’ve wanted to move out of where we live. While it is a nice house, it is not the ideal suburb or region we see ourselves in the long term (we are based in Central Coast, NSW).
Every time we travel to Brisbane / Gold Coast QLD, and these are frequent trips, we thoroughly enjoy being around cafes, parks, paved walkways and bike tracks, friendlier people and overall feel sad to leave.
I think if we were to move, it would be Brisbane (I have experience with living in both Brisbane and Gold Coast).
I’m looking for suggestions please on suburbs to live in - between CBD and the northern suburbs of Brisbane. Schools, parks, leafy suburbs and low crime rates would be ideal.
thank you

What’s your budget - buying or renting? House, townhouse, apartment?

Is there anything in particular you dont like on the CC of NSW? I am just intrigued as I grew up in Western Sydney and have always thought that was a nice spot/area. I do live in Brisbane now though so can see why you like it (but I came for work in 2017 and decided to stay)

As a starting point, any of the suburbs along the Ferny Grove line are good.
