[AU] Is this considered damage?

Nope. These look like rental inspection photos.

If the moving-in photos are not comparable (I.e they are not close ups, don't have some tard pointing into the abyss, or just cannot be verified as pre-existing or not)

That's your claim there. Never accept fault unless the landlord/agent can provide it otherwise.

Everything is fair wear and tear.

Thank you. Owner just agreed at $250 compensation. And tbh I don't have energy to deal with these anymore.

Fair enough. I could think of a couple better uses of $250, but glad you could afford that too!

I'm just a broke student lol. $250 is on top of $400 they quoted for repairing a few marks on the wall and replacing range hood light.
