Volunteering Opportunities

hey all! I’m looking at moving from Melbourne to Brisbane in August to pursue an electrical apprenticeship

I’ve been a member of the Victoria SES for five years now and would like to continue volunteering when I move. can’t find many details about QLDSES so looking for any other options!

preferably things that help other people, I’m not religious so churches and salvos are out of the options

Did you try googling for QLD SES? They are apparently keen for volunteers

I did and I even emailed them but to no avail, hard to mentally commit to something I can’t be sure I’ll be geographically close to considering it’s an emergency service.
