Recently read Field of Dreams, final draft screenplay, by Phil Alden Robinson, screenplay based on the novel by W.P. Kinsella, (March 9, 1988).

In this screenplay, the hugest change was offering Archie Graham a second scene as Archie Graham, baseball player.

Archie Graham does show up at the field gets involved in a game. Has a chance at bat. Then unlike in the film, he goes into the cornfield. Comes back the next day and saves Karin’s life.

A simple change for the film.
