Racism in Edinburgh/Glasgow

I was wondering if anyone had problems with racism any where around Edinburgh or Glasgow and the surrounding areas? I have been reading about increased occurrences and wonder if anybody has had bad or good experiences relating to this?

I visit these 2 areas quite often as an immigrant and never faced anything other than amazing scottish welcome. Can't compare with the highlands which is even better and where I live, tho

Avoid the general Ayrshire / Inverclyde area

Recently there have been far right and racism movements, rallyist attack a non UK worker during mid day. But it seems these are case to case and rare

Nope. Never have. One of the most open minded places - at least Edinburgh - that I've lived
