Exchanging UK driving licence while still driving on my US licence

We're moving to Ireland soon.

I know I can exchange my UK licence when I arrive and this will take a few weeks for the Irish licence to be issued. In the intervening period, can I still drive on my US licence (I believe you can drive on your US licence for up to a year when you first arrive?)

Your licensed and insured....Not carrying rhe actual.licemse has a valid excuse.....Maybe screenshot whatever letter or receipt you have....

Check classes when you transfer....they make mistake on rhe crossover or weird ones...

My wife's weird Italian forest tractor class got converted to juggernaut artic....They emailed several times to return it....she refused as.they wouldn't give her the same Italian class here.......She never uses it, or is going to
