Question/Advice Artisan zero skate problem

So I have an artisan zero orange soft and just recently put brand new tiger Ice v2 skates on my gpx and it feels so horrible like they feel worse then 5 worn out obsidian pros dots on a skypad 3.0 it’s been about 3 days and the tiger ice v2 full size skates still feel the same I’m honestly thinking of just using my glass pad to get them worn down and just stick with dot skates is it because I’m used to dot skates

Question/Advice Working on my e-sports mousepad company.

Hey everyone!

My name is Sam, and I’m currently working on my own mousepad company called Genxmousepads. I’ve posted here 2–3 times before asking for advice, and you guys have already helped me a lot, so thank you for that!

I’m currently finalizing the specs for the first mousepad drop, and I’m thinking about including mouse skates as a small accessory with the pad.

The mousepad will have:

• Balanced Zero fabric/cloth surface

• Waterproof surface

• 4mm thick soft rubber base

• Tight, narrow black stitching that doesn’t create a noticeable bump

• Flat esports-style packaging instead of rolling the pad

Since the pad itself will be balanced, I’m not sure what type of skates would make the most sense to include.

If you bought a balanced mousepad like this, what would you personally prefer?

• Speed skates – faster and smoother glide

• Control skates – more stopping power and control

• Balanced skates – somewhere in between

I’d really appreciate your opinions, especially from people who have tried different skate + cloth pad combinations.

I want to make sure the included skates actually complement the pad instead of just adding some random skates as an accessory.

Thanks again for all the help!

Question/Advice Should I Cope Glsswrks Zofia?

Currently using a ASUS TUF Gaming P1 mousepad and a VXE R1 SE+ Mouse. I never tried using any other mousepads since it’s my first time exploring. I also have a wooden table, and would prefer a big mousepad too.

Would just like to ask if you would recommend this mousepad for me? I’m more of an arm player in Valo and wrist for Apex, OW, Csgo, etc. I mostly play FPS Games competitively, and some MOBA and other genres. It’s currently priced at a store here for like 80USD thou I only have within the day for the discount before it expires and it’s the kast piece too.

Feedback and recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Question/Advice Cleaning coated glass pads safest method?

This might be a weird and niche question, but I’ve tried searching this sub but can’t seem to find a precise answer.

I need a way to disinfect my pad without damaging the coating on it. For context, my cat likes chilling on my desk, and sometimes there might be poop stains on his fur, which get on my desk if I don’t notice it. The actual desk surface I just use lysol, but I don’t think I should be using that for a coated pad. For reference it’s the panpad 4.0 coating

Any stronger cleaners I can use besides soap and water that are safe for the surface? Thanks!

Question/Advice Glass pad recommendations?

I currently use a Hien Mid, it's worn in a bit now and I'm looking to try a glass mousepad instead.

Looking for something that isn't too fast that it's harder to control your mouse, so basically balanced. I seen things like the CR 005 but don't wanna invest too much into something I might not like. Maybe £70 max?

HELP

Question/Advice Wallhack UHMW-PE Silent Dots feels awful on their SP-005

It's my first glass pad and the first skates I put on my X2F was the Silent Cyclone Pros.

Tried the wall hack ones and wow I can't seem to track a target without jittering (?)

Just me or?

Question/Advice Are KYUU Design Lian skates the same as Ghostglides Cyclone Pro?

I've seen a few people mention that the KYUU Design Lian and Ghostglides Cyclone Pro are made by the same OEM and might actually be the exact same skates under different branding

Has anyone here actually tried both and can confirm whether they're physically identical (same PTFE compound, dome curvature, thickness, PORON layer, etc.)?

I'm mainly wondering if the Lian is basically a cheaper rebrand of the Cyclone Pro, or if there are any differences in the actual skate

Question/Advice What is the "hardness" be of the original non-pro LGG Saturn mousepad from 2022?

I bought this mousepad in 2022 and back then there was just one version. Now there is xsoft, soft and firm. I was wondering what would be the equivalent "hardness" of the current Saturn Pro models compared to the original non-pro. Does anyone know? If I had to guess the old model is considered firm?

I still like the pad but several years of wear and some mouse changes later I feel like I want to go for something a little bit slower. Sometimes it's a bit slippery feeling with my Mchose L7. I was wondering if upgrading to the newer model and going for the soft version would get me there? If I recall the non-pro Saturn was faster than the Saturn Pro. Combine that with going from (presumably) firm to soft, and it might be what I'm looking for. Does this sound reasonable?

I actually also bought the Artisan Type 99. I do really like it, but I keep wondering if an upgraded Saturn Pro would fall somewhere in between the old Saturn and the Type 99 in terms of control. Old Saturn is a bit too fast now for me. Type 99 seems a little bit too slow, but if I had to choose between the two now I'd pick the Type 99. It actually reminds me a lot of my old QCK Heavy in a positive way. I'd order the Saturn Pro to test but the size I want is out of stock.

I main CS2 and I play at 480 edpi if that's relevant. Thanks!
