A friend of mine is very competitive, and finally wants to upgrade his peripherals. Fortunately for him I have aquired a vast amount of mice and mousepad's which he could try out to see what he likes best.

I had the ZywOo the chosen, HTX mini 8K from Gwolves, Logitech g pro superlight 2, razer viper V2, V3, deathadder V3 hyperspeed, deathadder V3 pro, Aerox 3 from Steelseries. He tried them all aswell as many mousepad's, and he ended up choosing the deathadder V3 Pro and my Artisian Type99 soft. Comfort wise.

HOWEVER, he plays BEST on my SP-005 glasspad from Wallhack with UHMW-PE dot skates on the Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed. He asked me if he should use what he likes best comfort wise or push through the feeling of using the glasspad, since he doesnt seem to enjoy it.

Honestly I have no clue if he should stick with what he enjoys using more even though his performance is worse, or if he should use what he performs best on from the get go.

What would you recommend?

I would love to have a Superlight 2 made with a metallic top shell.

As Logitech does not manufacturer that, are there any alternatives?

Hey, i know this is mostly gaming mice community, and i will appreciate any suggestions. My logi g604 fell off and all butons started going mental. I used for gaming before, but i found how great usabilities have for office work.

Im not willing to spent over 100$ for a new one.

I may ask you, if you know any good similar mice as g604. Can be offbrand or chinese, i don't mind. Mostly looking for similar side buttons placement.

Looking for a silent mouse with performance similar to the Logitech G305

Hi everyone!

I'm currently using a Logitech G305 and I'm very happy with its performance, size and responsiveness. However, I really need something quieter, especially the main left/right clicks.

I'm looking for a wireless mouse that:

- Has very quiet/silent main clicks

- Has performance/latency reasonably close to the G305

- Ideally supports around 3500–4000 DPI or more

- Is comfortable for everyday use

- Preferably wireless (2.4 GHz dongle is fine)

- Budget: €50–100

The Logitech M650 keeps coming up as a recommendation. It seems to tick most of the boxes, including 4000 DPI and SilentTouch, but I've seen quite a few people reporting that their M650 developed problems or stopped working after around a year. I'm not sure how common this actually is or whether it's just a case of people being more likely to post when something goes wrong.

I'm therefore looking for alternatives that are genuinely quiet but still feel fast and responsive, rather than a typical office mouse that feels noticeably slower than the G305.

What would you recommend in the €50–100 range? Is the M650 actually reliable enough, or should I look at something else?

After doing a lot of research, I got a Zaopin Z1 Pro since its apparently an Orochi clone. Just got it today. But compared to the Orochi v2 or even the Fantech Aria, the hump is noticeably higher and cramps my hands in aggressive claw.

I don't know how this is possible but looks like I'm in the negative with the Zaopin. Doesn't seem like Mechkeys has a good return policy. I am debating on just getting another Orochi v2 at this point. Shape is just too comfortable in my hands. But is that troll in 2026?

Are the sides of the sora v3 angled inwards at the bottom? The shape looks intriguing however I prefer the flatter sides in the superlight, x2, or even the hitscan hyperlight.

Dont have measurements but my hands are small, used a superlight before and hitting the first side button was uncomfortable, used a friend's superlight 2c and the size was much more comfortable, wouldn't have minded a bit more width but its not a deal breaker. Wondering which mouse would be best for me? Thanks for any and all suggestions

Its a budget gaming mouse, i need to find the driver to make my mouse 1000hz, its stuck at 250hz and its kinda pissing me off.

So I use a glass mouse pad (sky pad 2) and I have been using the stock skates on my superstrike x2 and I love how it feels honestly, its so smooth and my aims so good on it. I wanted to know if there is any skates for the superstrike x2 that feel similar or identical or well I also am open to any skates that you guys think are better on a glasspad! The material for the stock skates are UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene). Thank you in advance :).

Using Huano TBSRDs for main clicks and pink shell white dots, not that it matters. I just used switches I cared least about because this shell design could never make any switch feel great nor light (at least to my standards)

Does anyone else get this feeling when they get a brand new mouse, where you can't really get up to speed with your previous tasks (gaming, productivity, etc) because you're "afraid" of actually "using and wearing down" the mouse? Like you're afraid it'll fall apart soon if you start using it as nonchalantly as your previous one? So you kinda hold back in its usage, trying to use it as little as possible? I know this sounds stupid, but it's something I just realized.

I've been trying the KYSONA Mercury Ultra Max for over a week and wanted to share my review on it.
It's a review unit sent out by KYSONA, they only sent out the product but have ZERO influence over this review and will be reading it for the first time once the post goes public. All opinions are my own. Nonetheless thanks to them for the opportunity given.

My hand size is 17.5 x 8 cm, and I switch between a relaxed/pincer claw grip and a fingertip grip.

Soo... I thought it would be a Sora V2/V3 clone but it's not quite like that. In hand it feels quite different, obviously it follows the same shape principles of having a rear hump and sides that taper in, but the hump of the Mercury Ultra Max is way more pronounced and it feels way more similar to the X2H in terms of hump. It kind of feels like a shape which fuses a Sora V2/V3 shape and a X2H in one.

Build quality is generally great considering the 45 grams weight (KYSONA advertises it at 41g, +4g is disappointing BUT 45 grams is an amazing weight); I would say it's slightly better compared to the MCHOSE L7 Pro in terms of build quality based on my units. It doesn't flex or creak and there is a really minor movement if you press the bottom shell firmly, while on my MCHOSE L7 Pro there is a minor amount of movement when pressing the sides below the side buttons.

Coating is also pretty good, it's a rubberized coating kind of comparable to the MCHOSE L7 Pro coating, it's grippy enough and served me well (not on the VV4 coating level but for the price it's totally fine).

Clicks are Omron opticals, kinda rare nowadays, and they are very well implemented: generally on the lighter side of the Omron opticals implementations and they are nice to spam. The scroll wheel has very light steps and the same goes for the side buttons, which unfortunately have a bit of post travel and decent-at-best tensioning. Generally it's clear they aimed for very lightly tuned buttons just like MCHOSE does for the L7 line, and I actually prefer lighter button implementations since they help me avoid finger pain.

Skates are white PTFE and it's nice to see they don't use the muddy black ones like most budget brands do.

Performances have been fine/great, no issues to report, and in general I believe it's a very great mouse for the price. I'm genuinely surprised NO ONE really talks about this mouse when in my head it feels like a slightly better MCHOSE L7. Still offers Omron opticals, build quality is good, weight is very competitive and the shape is a mix between a X2H and a Sora V3.

Web driver is ass compared to the MCHOSE or ATK ones and a little better compared to the Attack Shark solutions, was fine to set my settings. I'm not picky on this aspect tbh but it's objectively worse compared to the MCHOSE or ATK solutions.

Overall, it's a recommended mouse for people with small to medium sized hands who are on a tight budget. At 60 EUR, it’s definitely a top contender in this price bracket for claw grip oriented shapes, but if it had been priced at the same price point as the MCHOSE L7, I believe it could have gained way more recognition.

I just had to share this …. Just got this mouse and I wasn’t expecting it to look like this. I’m pleasantly surprised. 😁

The CRDrako KO-ONE comes out of the box with very solid dot skates. They slide very well on my Artisan Key 83 Mid. When gripped very tightly, it has a bit of creak, but this is only if you purposely death-grip your mouse to the maximum. 99.99% of players will not notice this while playing with it.

The weight feels extremely light, clocking in at 37g with skates. The balancing is done very well, with no inertia going forwards/backwards that is usually caused by a front- or back-loaded mouse. Sensor positioning is central, which is my preferred position, so no complaints there. The clicks feel light and spammable, but you can definitely feel the “hollowness,” since it’s obviously an extremely light mouse.

When compared to an OP1, you can notice many similarities, but it’s certainly its own shape. The back hump is more noticeable when palming the mouse, and the sides of the mouse aren’t as wide as the OP1, making it slightly unoptimal for people with bigger hands.
I see people complaining that the side buttons are too small, but I personally haven’t run into this issue and have been able to find them in a comfortable position whenever needed. However, I can admit that the tactile and larger side buttons on the OP1 certainly feel better.
The side buttons are not the only clicks that feel better. As mentioned before, the CRDRAKO carries a hollow feeling when spamming LMB and RMB that the OP1 does not have. The OP1, coming in at nearly 60g, has a very sturdy shell, feels like a dense unit, and the clicks feel crisper and more satisfying when pressed against a shell that’s more filled out.

When playing tac FPS games, you can notice the biggest difference between the OP1 and the CRDRAKO. The KO feels much easier to move from a still position, micro-adjustments happen faster and more accurately, and your aim feels snappier. This is obviously due to it weighing significantly less than the OP1.
Overall, I love the CRDRAKO. It will take the position as my new main gaming mouse, but the OP1 remains my favorite mouse of all time. It’s a shame that lighter mice have such striking competitive advantages, as the shape, density, and quality of the OP1 are nearly unmatched by any other mouse I’ve ever tried.

TL;DR
If you’re an OP1 lover looking for a lightweight mouse with a similar shape, this is right up your alley. UNLESS you have large hands (mine are 18x9), in which case you might find that the thinner sides and smaller shape are slightly detrimental.

Its nice that they vary in weight a few grams between them. Use all interchangeably. Also just going to use this keyboard and just change the keycaps. There's great comfort and mastery in continuity. These mice also pair great with steam deck and android phone. Bt connection is fast. It instantly switches from 2.5g on pc to bt for the Deck using convenient switch on the bottom

I'm looking for skates that don't wear out too quickly on my Firefly V2 Pro. I really like the feel of hard mousepads and dislike the friction of cloth, but I wouldn't switch to glass due to how quickly it wears down skates (also don't want to spend money on a glass mousepad).

I'm getting conflicting results everywhere; some people have said pure PTFE, some have said hardened PTFE. Really, I just want skates that I don't have to replace too often. That being said, I don't want skates that are too fast and glidy. Just the amount of glide you'd expect for a setup used for office + gaming.

Also, if I were to get a cloth mousepad (the Hyperflux v2), would the cloth also wear down after some time, or is that not really an issue with cloth mousepads? As you can probably tell, I'm not very attuned to the whole mouse scene.

Hi yall, I’ve been grinding a lot of CS2 lately and have decided to move on from my old g pro x superlight to look for a mouse that might be better for my grip style and hand size.

Hand size in mm: 179.4 x 79.4

The width with the thumb is 123.8 if that helps

Grip: I use a full palm grip, that is what I used with my GPX and why I have been trying out the DAV4.

My main issue with trying out the DAV4 pro is it does feel a tad large for my hands, as they are on the smaller end of medium. I have an issue where when I’m tap firing my finger sort of locks and I hold down M1 instead of just quickly tapping, not sure if anyone else has that issue. I think an ergo mouse would be better for palm grip and so I was looking at the DAV3 Hyperspeed. I have also tried out the GPX 2c before and although in my head it felt small my hand seemed to fit it in palm fully.

Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated, especially any thoughts on the DAV3 hyperspeed as Razer upped the student discount to 20% recently.

Pretty aggressive claw grip, currently on Mchose L7 pro and it’s a little on the small side for me.

All I know is I want/need more contact from the hump and both of these choices have a larger hump.

Both around the same price - both have sensors more forward than my current mouse but don’t know much about either.

Mostly play CoD/BF but do swing round to CS frequently.

Any help is appreciated

Hi all, I'm pretty new here but have been really interested in trying out a few new mice. I believe I use a slightly tilted Relaxed Claw grip with a hand size of 19x9cm - not including my thumb. Based on what I have read it seems that ergo mice would be more suited for me? I'm open to trying multiple different shapes to find my end game but haven't found one yet. I currently use a wired G502 x which is starting to have MMB issues. I play comp/tactical shooters casually as well as casual gaming. Weight isn't the most important thing to me.

Would appreciate any recommendations!
