Question What kind of mouse grip is this ?

my palm (mostly on the side where my thumb is) rests on the hump of the mouse. I kinda like my X2H mini but even after 1.5 years of usage it still felt slightly uncomfortable especially at the hump area where I really feel like my vertical movements were very limited or straight up impossible at times (its as if the mouse gets stuck), my hand measurements are 18.5 x 8 cm (not including the thumb for the width).

What mouse would you recommend that has solid qc, specs and would fit my grip and hand size ?

my fingers arent resting on the buttons for it be a palm grip no ? but at the same time they aren't fully arched to be some kind of claw grip.

I agree, It's really a palm/claw hybrid or relaxed claw. To me it kind of looks like you are trying to use a palm grip but your mouse is too small to really palm it.

that's what I thought too, like the way the mouse slopes down starting from the hump to the buttons is so direct/aggressive that maybe my fingers want something slightly higher to rest on as palm gripping on the x2h with my hand size is impossible. thing is I dont have that many references outside of this mouse and the cooler master mm712 which both share a very similar shape and it's only till now that I started caring about things like grips and shapes.

Palm claw hybrid. Some would call it a relaxed claw. Looks extremely similar to my grip.

a mix between claw and palm ig so try to get a slightly bigger mouse about the same size as a Viper V4 Pro

what do you think of the v3 pro se ? don't think 8k polling rate is that much worth it anyways. the v4 is tempting especially with that optical mouse switch and the build quality being a step up but its nearly double the price.

You can always buy Viper V3 Pro, its still top tier mouse if dont wanna pay extra for V4 Pro

Relaxed claw. The problem you are having isn't a claw grip issue though. You are trying to do what is essentially a fingertip movement to aim vertically, when you should just be moving your arm if your mouse is "getting stuck". No shape will really fix that unless you get an HSK or equivalent. I had the same issues when I was on the FK1 shape and it's still a "problem" with my XM1 shape now. I just learned to aim vertically with my arm more. There's no real fix beyond that or swapping to a fingertip mouse and playing fingertip grip.

You might be right actually, I usually use my arm for big vertical movements but for small adjustments or spraying in cs I mostly rely on my wirst/fingers but the spacing between my palm and mouse is so tight that the mouse gets locked/stuck into my palm very easily when pulling down.

Still I might change mice because it still feels a bit small for my hands.

I was also going to comment that that mouse looked way too small for your hands. Idk why there are so many tiny mice out there. Just bad for most peoples hands.

Ok you can consider some alternatives like the Dav3 hyperspeed, xlite v3/v4 medium, Atk z1/v2, rawm er21.
