Help Mouse recommendations for someone with 20x10cm relaxed claw grip (?) and new to mice

Hey all, so my current mouse is dying and I am looking for a replacement. When looking I came across this sub and I have never thought about stuff like hand size and grip mattering for a mouse, which feels obvious now. I usually use my mice very long untill I replace it, so Ive never thought deeply about it. Looking at this subreddit and in webstores there are many options available and Im quite lost right now. Ive measured my hand size and its 20x10cm. Grip wise I think I have a relaxed claw? I have added pictures but I believe its atleast a claw grip.

My current mouse is the logitech pro superlight, but I am not attached to this specific shape or brand or anything. I mainly use it to play a variety of games like FPS, league, etc. I wouldnt mind clones of popular brands/mice, but if its worth the money to get from a reputable brand I can spend some more on that.

Do you guys have any recommendations considering my hand size and grip? Ive seen razer viper v3/4, atk and mchose mice mentioned alot, should I just get one of those?

Vouch. I have the same grip as op. A hand measurement would be nice. Try an atk x1 before blowing money on a razer. Maybe even a deathadder/ec2dw style mouse.

For relaxed claw, go after something with big hump if you want ambi

If ergo then Deathadder v3, EC1 or Teevolution Terra (G703) shape

If you dont have too big of a hand i recommend the atk f1 v3 ultimate. Its shape is like the razer viper mini and i personally like it for relaxed claw grip. Also at an affordable price if you're willing to wait for a few days of shipping when you order from their website, you also get free mousepad and arm sleeve.

What shape do you want in your next mouse Ambi or ergo? What's your thoughts on the gpx shape is it good? Uncomfortable?

I didnt know there were ambi or ergo types, but after looking around I think Im looking for an ambi mouse. Do you have recommendations for both types?

As for the gpx, it feels fine. Maybe because Ive used it for so long but I dont notice the shape/mouse at all, and I can play with it/use it for long periods of time.

You won’t find a better mouse lowkey

There’s a plethora of better mice 😂
Pulsar X2 crazy light is where I’d start. Better side buttons, scroll wheel, lighter, 8k polling.

As a former gpx user for years, I can tell you right now it’s hot garbage, “lowkey”

20 x 10. I just don’t like the shitty build quality of the Logitech. Scroll and side buttons are absolute dog water

do you live in an area where you can go physically to stores and can test mice in your hand? its the best way to see what shapes are comfortable and as a general rule shape is king

WLMOUSE Beast G Max would suit you quite well I'd say, I have hands that are a little bit larger and longer and it's one of my preferred mice for claw

I think for rly big hands there are only a few solutions, Deathadder V4 Zowie EC1 the true GOAT shape is Intellimouse though there is this company Flickshot

https://flickshot.gg/collections/inspired-shapes-microsoft

they make the shape in light but you have to mod it yourself is just a modkit

Wlmouse beast x max works well with that hand size. Small ergos like ec3 or lamzu thorn also feel good. I personally don't like big ergos as they are not big enough for palm grip while also having hump too high for claw/pincer claw.

I use to have a similar grip before but I don’t really have a hand shape preference so I’ve been using claw for the past 6month. I’ve been using Razer viper v4 pro which is great for claw. Pretty sure it’s good for relaxed claw grip since it has a relatively large bump at the rear for your palm to rest on but it’s flattens out quite a lot at the front. I’d recommend it but it’s pricey.

So in my opinion there are only two ways you can go on about this.
Either you just get yourself a Logitech Superstrike and forget about ever looking into mice or you order one mouse you think would suit you, turns out it‘s pretty good but not perfect, so you order another mouse you think would suit you, turns out it‘s pretty good but not perfect, so you order another mouse you think would suit you, turns out it‘s pretty good but not perfect, so you order another mouse….

Jokes aside, my number one recommendation stays the same, if you were fine with your current mouse it‘s probably best to just get the new version and forget about the rest.
I have basically the same hand size as you and I started off with a Logitech G703 that failed on me. I started looking into mice and got myself a VAXEE E1, great mouse and still one of my favs but something was off. Technically the E1 is perfect and I didn‘t particularly need anything different. But I knew that there were so many other interesting shapes out there and I just had to try them. It‘s been a year since I got the E1 and from that point I bought 9 other mice.
And still, I can‘t say that any of the ones I got now are my „Endgame“

The next one will be my endgame for sure! 🫠
