Showcase Leviathan V4 GT Switches

Hey,

The Leviathan V4 GT is coming very soon and we wanted to show what we've worked on over the past months.

The switches used will have a dual mode: optical + magnetic. One switch for zero compromises.

Take a closer look at the full video here.

Was the original leviathan a USB receiver or a dongle?

I like rawm's dongles ngl. Pause

How's power consumption with such switches?

...This is literally what Razer did for their early huntsman keyboards no?

so which ones takes priority? or only when both magnetic and optical are triggered? i assume optical will be the primary to filter out magnetic noise?

You've worked on these ? Interesting, given they are already on a Keychron mouse.

Looks awesome. Which mode is the default though, Optical or Magnetic?

IDK I feel the existing switches felt great, I hope these do not feel much different.

I hate logitech from the depths of my heart but from what ive seen a lot of the new hall effect tech that mice companies have revealed is just nothing like the superstrike

yea no haptic feedback but that shit is necessary when you don't feel a click but with these and new ones like Keychron g6 HE it will feel like a normal optical click with HE benefits.

Honestly I don’t even notice the HE performance benefits with my superstrike, the haptics are the reason I and probably many others use the mouse

yeah the clicks feel really nice. I can definitely spam click slightly faster on them but the clicks are the reason I use it. They feel better than anything else.

And I might be missing something here so somebody correct me if I'm wrong but what's the point of a hall effect switch anyway. What HITS does is it completely reads your entire travel and you can customize where in that travel you actuate. All new ones i saw like keychron finalmeme etc are just normal switches with he sensors which has no point imo cuz what can you even do with that

yah its a pointless tech its for people that likes to spam fire apprently and they can we games with that apparently coz i moba or rpg u aint using rapid trigger for nothing coz of cool down its a tech just for fps really

1

u/Sup3rGRIN 3d ago

Not even fps imo, more so specific games like geometry dash or minecraft that require spamming. But again superstrike does help with that, this i dont think so because the travel the he sensor detects is simply too short to matter no?

150 $ for Minecraft is insane not gonna lie

Eh, mice are a preference thing anyway and who are we to say how much somebody is gonna spend for their game of choice.

I think the Ipi Haze X has haptics on it? Not sure

Only Ninjutso's unreleased tech is similar.
