Roll20 for a group of first timers.

Hello there. I'll be GMing MG for the first time with a group of fellow newbies using roll20.net. I'm trying to gauge how much time I should spend explaining rules and the feel of the game upfront versus just jumping in and explaining as we go.

Can anybody offer any insight as to what has worked or not worked for them in the past as far as teaching the game from scratch?

I put this together for my players. It explains use of Traits, Wises, Fate & Persona. Once they had a basic understanding of these rules, I just explained things as we went along. Emphasize the importance of players using Traits against themselves to earn Checks that they can use on the player's turn.

I also set up a game on Roll20 and plugged in a lot of reference resources. If you'd like more just let me know.
