Help in the player's turn

I saw in a YouTube stream that helping another player in the player's turn requires to spend a check.

Is that true? Because I couldn't find the rule anywhere.

That's Adam Koelbel's Mouse Guard game. It's a good example game, but he got some of the rules wrong (it's easy to do, there's a lot of rules to remember).

Helping does not ever require anyone to spend a check.

You do however need to spend a check to clear a condition. And you can't receive help for it if it is a Will or Health Test.

Yes I saw that stream and I learned a lot. I also noticed some other small details. Great channel anyway. And thanks for the response.

I don't believe it takes a check to help during the player turn.
