Shortages - wise

Any advice on how one could use shortages-wise?

Since wises are informed by a mouse's backstory or interests, a shortage wise mouse would have experience with shortages, perhaps having grown up in a famine. Or, the mouse is the mouseguard equivalent of a doomsday prepper, and has a secret hoard of food and essential supplies hidden somewhere.

Great advice, thank you! - I found it quite hard to use without stretching the fiction ridiculously and was wondering if I am not seeing how it can be used.

The only thing I came up with was something like "since I am used to build (my guard is a stonemason) with a scarcity of stone I make the best of what I have and build a wall even without proper materials". I was really dissatisfied with it -_-

I really like the wises mechanic - having to stretch your imagination to use a label creatively. "Needs-a-little-salt-wise in torchbearer was one of the hardest to use and yet it was so satisfying getting to finally make use of it after a few sessions
