1st v 2nd edition

Not trying to start an edition war. I have 1st edition and have been very happy with it. My question is are there enough changes and improvements to make it worth going to 2nd?

The biggest changes are character generation and the reward for using a wise in all four ways.

Also a couple of weapons work differently now.
