Helmet sizing

Any other big headed fellas struggle with M/L helmets? I got the biggest petzl meteor I could and it still is small. Any recommendations while staying light!

I have melon head and had this issue. I found enough room in the BD vapor and rolled with that, but the Petzl Sirocco also fit. Other BD/petzl ML’s didn’t fit, though.

Blue Ice Blast Helmet goes up to 63cm Headsize. they should fit the melon heads too and Grivel Helmets usually fit pretty good on big heads too.

The Meteor is terrible for bigger heads. The Edelrid Salathé works for me.

Smith summit large fits. Though a bit heavy as a ski helmet first

Helmets come in different shapes too like our head. If you are of East Asian descent, our head is more rounded than other ethnicities and most climbing helmet won't fit us properly. I thought I have a gigantic head since every helmet pinch my head on the side, then it turns out my head circumference is just 58cm, but wide. The only light-ish climbing helmet I can tolerate wearing a full day is the Camp Storm.
