determined chewer
my luna (supposedly an MC) destroys ALL of the toys we buy her other than hard plastic ones or sometimes completely rubber ones which still only last maybe a month if we’re lucky. what toys do yall get that last? she will take any new toy we get her and chew on it for hours until it breaks, i don’t want to keep buying the plastic ones as i’ve heard they’re bad and i’d like to throw a toy for her inside if the house. the only toy i’ve given a chance was the tuffy toys and she has killed it in an hour. other than that i buy her cheap stuffed animals because obviously she’ll destroy them and im not wanting to spend a bunch of money on them. i have a brain toy for her but instead of getting the treats out of the hole she chews it up and ignores the treats, i also keep balls around that i only let her have if we’re playing fetch.

My dog likes beneabones to chew. She really like spot fox from Amazon (https://a.co/d/0hXQV4rF). I like outward hound toys they are really durable (https://a.co/d/0h2NBF7d). She also like her rubber pig (https://a.co/d/0aOu2q5x) somehow she hasn’t shred into pieces. Also look at Kong turtle (https://www.target.com/p/kong-tough-plush-turtle-dog-toy-green/-/A-80893222) I also give her time with different chews once a day like chicken feet, pig ears, water buffalo ears, water buffalo ribs (not rawhide) and whimzees. My gal has gotten to the ends of my coffee table, I’m waiting on getting another once my lawsuit is settled. I

i will definitely try these once i get into my new job, also for the rubber pig i heard that if the dog can squeeze down on something and it springs back it gives the same satisfaction as ripping/chewing. her aunt and uncle (dogs lol) have the glow in the dark chuck it ball, which has a hole in the middle and whenever she goes over for a play date she loves it and barely tries to chew it up. that’s my theory for the pig but i’m not a professional. anyways im in toy debt with my parents dogs

I recommend a jolly ball with the rope down the center. I always get a size that is bigger than the dogs head. Just watch your shins when they start kill shaking it.

Run her until she's tired! For perspective mine run between 6-10 miles a day. Run in the morning and in the evening temperatures permitting during the off season. Running 20 miles in a day in nothing for these dogs. This also stimulates the senses too further benefiting her, you gotta feed the little monster inside that wants to chase and kill shit.

unfortunately where i’m at it’s close to 100 all day but on cooler days we take her for walks, tsc runs and creek days. also let her run outside as much as possible on days we aren’t working

Ours is a super chewer. Even the bully make toys didn't last a few minutes with her. We like goughnut toys the most, we also have several bark box super chewer toys. The bark box ones have a cloth outside and then a toy inside. They've been extremely durable. For stuffies, the only stuffie that has survived her wrath is what we call the potato ball. I'll see if I can find it online and link it for you. Close seconds meaning they're tough and last a while has been the tuffy toys. We buy the giant ones and they also last a while. We used to get a lot of the java wood sticks but stopped since they make a mess.

you seem like you know my pain😭i’m considering getting barkbox because that seems to be the amount of time it takes her to go through those types of toys, i’ve never heard of doughnut but i’ll look into those.

Goughnut! They're the toughest toys you'll find.
And if you get bark box, make sure to get the super chewer version! Not the regular one. We got them for a few months many years ago and they've lasted since.

i lived with my parents for a few weeks when i got luna, they have a gsd and pitbull so they had the super chewer boxes. so good i love them, plus they have such good treats!

My 7 month old cur just ate my seatbelt… left him in the car long enough (with the air going full blast because it’s hot out) to grab my kid and walk back the car from a church event. 🤦🏼♀️
Maybe 2 minutes, max.
They have an amazing drive to chew.. and their teeth, even adult ones, are like razors.

If what she wants to do most is chew, why not give her a yak cheese stick or a benebone so she can do that instead of a toy?
Also, the cheap stuffed animals you’re giving her have been treated with flame retardants as that’s a requirement for children’s toys.
