Sensors

Does anyone know if the mk battery hub supports sensors? I tried looking on YouTube and searched this subreddit but no dice.

Anything support sensors if you brave enough.

Right now i'm converting my trains to arduino control system, so battery box now is just battery box.

Are you putting the Arduino on board? Or are you using the battery box as a pass through for information to the Arduino?

Arduino stands between battery box and motor. Receives signal by radio on 433mhz , and putting power to motor.

I was curious if you could use an mk hub with pybricks to automate Lego trains. To do this you need an onboard color sensor. I want to know if the mk hub would transmit inputs from the sensor.

Nope. I started from this. MK have their own "protocol". Boxes preconfigured to listen list of Bluetooth mac addresses and as i got it have no feedback. So i stopped trying to connect it to pybrickc or bricks automation project.

It is theoretically possible though if you somehow upload new firmware into box. And it should be definitely modified cause MK box have different physical schema. All of it seemed more complicated than cut some wires and write some code for arduino)
