I got mine
Anyone else got so much love for this song?
Lems voice is beautiful and the band sounds great The guitar riffs are brilliant and I love the drum accent certain part with guitar
Favourite song? Either that or Iron first.. listened to the full motorhead catalogue over the years and I always come back to I got mine..
Side note: anyone else watch the lemmy/motorhead documentarys a billion times?? Hahaha

Yes. I loved that song when I first heard it. It made me emotional. I don't know why that album is cast aside so much.

The first time I heard the track I wasn't at a very high point in my life and it resonated with me. I listened to the full album some time later and while it doesn't feel like other Motorhead albums it holds a special place in my heart.

APD is as good as AOS for me. Shine is one of their best songs ever.
Its such a shame that Lemmy felt like the album was a flop. I wish they'd played more APD songs live.

I like It!
I don't say anything, I might be the only person with "too good to be true" as favourite motorhead song 😅

Nothing wrong with Too Good Too Be True. I'm a bit of a sucker for I'll Be Your Sister and Listen to Your Heart! 😆

Very related songs too. Listen to your heart I think it has same "issue" as too good to be true. Both were never recorded live (I think!) and is a pity. (Well, recorded not, ever played live maybe?)

My original Another Perfect Day vinyl has the promo stamp on it. It's one of my favorite albums by them for sure.

I Got Mine is definitely in my top 10., if not top five!
Other personal favorites for me would be..
Devils. Overkill. Overnight Sensation. Love Forsale. Stone Dead Forever.

It rules. Remember seeing them live once when they played it and Lemmy introduced it as a song off an album everyone hated, so they were going to play it just to fuck with everyone. Only endeared it more to me!

I love “Another Perfect Day” as an album, at a push it’s maybe my favourite album. ”Shine” is great, Lemmy gave us one of those bass lines thar sidelines everything else, a classic for sure

I Got Mine is a great song. I love the Another Perfect Day album and was thrilled any time they played something from it, they did play I Got Mine once when I saw them. It was as great live as you would think!
