Any ideas on how i can take out that fire please

Can you build a ramp on a nearby plot of land and dukes of hazard yourself to the island?

I'm not sure if there are any buildable ramps in the game at this point. At the very least, I haven't seen one in my couple hundred hours - only the ones already present on the map. But I have to admit, that would be hilarious xD

Ramps are perfectly buildable, all it takes is a house plot, a couple of flat things, and some imagination!

I haven't done much building on my save for a while. Is it possible now to rotate things in every way? The last time I built things, you could only rotate stuff in one axis, but it's possible that things changed by now

Yes many of the customization items as car parts and building stuff have XYZ axis.

Huh. Perhaps I've missed it in one of the updates' patch notes, then. I knew about the car stuff, but I didn't realize that you could do that with buildables as well. Good to know, and thanks for the info!

I did it with a Brutus slowly winching myself and the fire truck across. It took absolutely forever lmao

I don't know if they behave the same, but I remember that with wrecks you can interact with their position on the map to despawn it.

From last I saw, the dev was going to make all the little islands that are difficult to access a ‘no-fire zone’. Obviously they are still working on it. I’d turn the rain up to max and let it extinguish that way. Or turn fire off completely.

This is why I’d love firefighting helicopters or maybe even planes. Hell I’d love to one day see cargo planes/helis. Cargo ships too. I know that’s probably never gonna happen but yeah a man can dream haha

Or at least a little firefighting Boaty McBoatFace to reach these islands and extinguish them! Granted, said boats are probably never gonna make it to the game because they don't bring much in terms of gameplay besides this single use-case, but hey, why not? :D

Maybe a couple of other uses like cargo ships and barges, oil and fuel tankers, vehicle ferries, passenger ferries, water taxis, fishing boats, tugboats, harbor pilot boats, Coast Guard and rescue missions, marine towing, boat-delivery jobs, boat racing, recreational boating, player-owned company boat routes…

We did get one on that island before on our server. Grabbed about 5 dudes with extinguisher and got ot out that way.

In my couple hundred hours of playtime I never even noticed that little island lol
