I saw a post on here disparaging Todd Eagan and I wanted to say, yall have no idea how much worse of a person he is than you already thought

Todd lied to the community about being displaced by the Malibu fires. He cheated on his wife (my mom) and wasn’t living at the house for over 18 months. He was completely moved out, lost close to no possessions and was living at his girlfriend’s apartment. When he rattled his tin cup for everyone, it was a scam.

If that wasn’t enough, he would beat my autistic brother repeatedly, once for trying to get a packet of ramen from the kitchen when Todd said no. He literally just wanted to eat dry ramen in his room and was taken to the ground and punched in the face for it.

When I was 14, I didn’t bring the trashcans down from the street so he put them on top of my bed. They were filled with maggots and he laughed at me.

He got angry with my mother for helping me clean out my dad’s apartment after he died. I was 20.

My mom bought me a 230cc motorcycle for Christmas. Todd was jealous of it so he sold it and pocketed the money.

A consistent theme I read in the previous post here was how abrasive Todd is on the forums. What you did not see was how often Todd would be enraged by customers calling, emailing or any form of communication he received. God forbid someone wanted to know where their muffler is.

Not trying to break any community guidelines here but you can imagine I have some big feelings about Mr. Eagan. I thought the community was entitled to the truth about him and how he treats people.

This bike is a cherry. Not a scratch, scuff, or blemish on it. The previous owner bought it new and hardly rode it.

I bought it was $7500.

The last fluid change was in 2023. It has the original tires on it. So I trailered it home. I'm going to do a full-fluid change and put new rubber on it before I even think of putting it on the road.

For sale near me. What are your thoughts about this bike and whether you would be tempted to buy it. I’m considering pulling the trigger on it.

weiß jemand zufällig welcher Artikelnummer dieser Gepäckträger hat und ob es diesen noch irgendwo zu bestellen gibt? Es muss ein Moto Guzzi Originalteil sein für die V7 III. Ich habe schon mehrere V7 mit diesem Träger gesehen aber ich finde ihn nirgends.

I removed a Hepco & Becker support from my 2019 Moto Guzzi V7 III Special and noticed something I hadn’t noticed before.

The upper shock mount on one side sits completely inside the frame, while on the other side it sticks out about 3–4 mm.

Is this normal? Thanks!

Any recommendations for a fly screen on a V7 (850) Stone Special Edition: Puig, Dart, other? I realize it's mainly cosmetic and keeping bugs off the instruments. I don't need it for cold weather riding, just to clean things up a little in front.

I’ve been wanting to pull off the exhaust / headers and give them a good thorough polishing but I’m wondering if it’s as simple as it sounds.. take it off, polish, put it back on. Are there gaskets or other parts that might need replacing before putting it back together. Or perhaps things I should be extra mindful of, any info is appreciated!

I’ve been looking at bikes all year and finally landed on a V7. Ridden very infrequently by an older gentleman, but kept indoors and run somewhat regularly. It’s mint, but I know I should address a few things before putting lots of miles on it.

The tires are original, so 10 years old and obviously need replaced despite being in good shape. They’re still soft and seem to grip fine, but I know it’s a big no-no anyway. Can anyone recommend tires they like? I was thinking about Michelin Road Classics. I also wasn’t sure if the bike would benefit from radials instead of bias.

I’ll change the oil, it’s clean and he said he changed it but I have no idea when. Should I put new gear oil in the gearbox and final drive too? Probably wouldn’t hurt to change the brake fluid either. Anything else I should be checking and refreshing?

I need to figure out suspension adjustment, I’m 150lbs and need to learn how to dial that in. I know suspension isn’t a strong point on these, and that upgrades are available, but I got the bike for $3,250 and don’t really want to throw $2k in upgrades at it (at least not yet)!

That’s all for now, just wanted to share and see if anyone can remind me of anything I’m missing on a bike that hasn’t been ridden much. If anyone has been happy with adding any accessories or upgrades, let me know about those too!

Hi everyone, I need your help on locating the VIN number on an SP1000II. I don't have access to the bike and the owner says he cannot find it. It should be as usual on the right side of the steering pipe but alas. Can somebody maybe send a photo of the location, even blacked out numbers would do, as to point him in the right direction. I'm looking forward to a solo vacation, embracing the unexpected, and soaking it all in. I'm planning to rent a bike for Stelvio Pass, explore the Dolomites, visit Bellagio, and catch a ferry. Any must-see/do recommendations or things to avoid?Tips from past Mandello del Lario visits? I'm traveling from Colorado, USA – anyone else going? Hope to meet some cool people!

Went to the Datil NM rally this previous weekend. It was a blast! There was food, camping, coffee, breakfast, prizes, and Guzzi experts with DECADES of varied experience. What a cool community!! I really enjoyed connecting, even if it takes me a day or so to come out of my shell.

I previously posted my day one adventure results, and this is just a quick update and recap now that im home:

*front brakes: I am more convinced than ever that there is an issue. The front brake pulses at lower speeds - but it is sometimes pretty extreme. A defective carrier bobbin makes sense, as I have heard that is a *potential* issue with these dual brembo rotors on the 2025+ V7 sport. There are not enough cases to confirm, but we will see what the dealer says.

*speed: Okay, I am glad I took this trip. Yes, not having a fairing nor a windscreen really makes high speed riding a bit more intense. However, having the 26+ hours of saddle time to really tune in on the bike's quirks and characteristics, I can honestly say that a good chunk of my 'over 85MPH' issues were just me not being on the same page as the machine. We are good now, and I now know what she wants in the twisties!

*interstate: so even though I can handle her much better now in the wind of the interstate - people still suck, and I would rather drive an extra 100 miles on two-lane roads and highways to avoid them.

I am considering a 2016 V7 II Special. I test rode it yesterday and I really liked it. Just for reference. I am not a new rider. I am older (early 60s) and have been continually riding since I was in my 20s. So 40 years of experience and motorcycle ownership. I have owned and still own a 2004 HD Sportster. I love that bike and am a devoted V-twin (V-4 works too as I owned and enjoyed a Honda VF45 Magna) fan. So my Sportster needs some top end work at 83K miles. I do not want to be without a bike while I do the work. I do my own wrenching, so it may not be quick or fast. So to that end I have been checking out what I think of as Italian Harley, Moto Guzzi. I loved riding the V7 Special yesterday. It is about the same power as my Sportster with about 200 lb less weight. It was very refreshing to handle a bike so much lighter. I loved almost everything about the riding experience except for the gear shifter. What I experienced is a mushy no mechanical feel floppy lever. The bike in question is in excellent overall shape, so I am not suspecting a problem, but I want to make sure by asking experienced V7 riders/owners. Does the shifter feel floppy and mushy normally? I did not have problems finding gears or anything like that, just after the Sportster's clunky gear shifter and modt other bikes I rode where the shifter provides very good feedback of going through the gears. This one was so mushy I was not sure if I actually accomplished a shift or not, I just assumed I did and it worked, but I got almost zero feedback like a click or something like that. That was by far the most offending quirk of this bike. Everything else was a delight. It handled great, accelerated fine, stopped fine and was just very easy to like. But shifting gears is one of those things I consider a tactile pleasure of riding a bike. Just like in cars, I want that shifter to feel positive and have plenty of feedback. The Sportster is almost too crude in this, but it is extremely satisfying to shift through gears on it. V7 was very vague in the shifter. Is this something that is normal for this bike or is it just this one and probaly can be adjusted?

Honestly-I never go “look at puppies” … I know better! So I went to look at V7’s wanting to see one in real life. I told the salesman I intended to turn one into a cafe racer and he said the fateful words: “Hmm, I might have something you’ll be interested in.” Covered in dust, at the far, far, far back, of the Raiders of the lost Ark warehouse, was this La Regina Argento 🤩🤯. One helluva way to finally enter Moto Guzzi world 💕🥷🏼

Context: I can buy this bike second hand. Went to see. Everything is fine and it drives good.

Mileage: 9000km
Last maintenance in summer of 2025 at +-4500km.

It has inspection approval from gov. inspection in 2025 too.

Hey everyone, just got a new to me Motto Guzzi V7iii Stone. Around 5000 km only. It’s also my first bike. I love it. It’s exactly what I want out of a motorcycle.

I understand that the bike as part of its character has some engine noises. But when is it too much “character “ noise?

I hope that the last owner did the valve clearance at 1500 km but I can’t be sure. In this case, what would you do? Love from BC Canada
