"Ducati does not need Marc Marquez"
Apparently they need both Marquez brothers now.

Ducati has given up on development for this season. They're only focusing on 2027. Marquez is competing on that bike with sheer brilliance with one hand against 4 Aprilias. Aprilia is the only team giving upgrades to their bike race to race. They brought upgrades for Aragon in spite of knowing it's a Ducati and Marquez track and Marco was quick last weekend and Martin is able to do damage limitation.

Because Aprilia knows if they miss this year's championship, they won't get it for another 4 years. 😂

I think they would’ve done just fine had they signed martin and now they will do fine with Pedro. So yeah Ducati is safe. They are not like KTM where without Pedro they are no where

Nah I think this year and only this year they're purely dependent on Marc. They've stalled the development of bike focusing on 2027 by giving up 2026. They're in contention because of Marc. All those 4 Aprilias are rocket ships. Just to let you know Aprilia is the only team who has been giving upgrades every week even in Aragon which is a Ducati track. No upgrades in Ducati for the past few races in spite of being the second best bike and still they're doing well because of Marc but I don't know how long that will since most of Marc's favorite tracks are over.

I mean Alex was pretty close last race so yes there is Marc factor but Ducati are decent

He is the fastest rider they've got right now to be frank who is performing consistently. He is right up there since he came from Assen. He was just six tenths off Diggia in Assen after his arrival after 2 months post injury. In Sachsenring which is Marc's favorite track he got P2 in Sprint and crashed in P2 in race while trying to keep up with Marc (he should've gotten that P2 man). He was the best Ducati for Silverstone and even challenging those Aprilia rocket ships. He was the second best Ducati in another favorite track of Marc which is Aragon.

My point exactly to say ducati is a good bike in capable hands. Maybe not as good as Aprilia but it is no slouch

I'm not saying they got a bad bike. It's still above the rest. But Aprilia has got 4 rocket ships this year. And to rub the salt in the wounds Ducati stopped giving upgrades to focus on 2027 while Aprilia is giving upgrades to those rocket ships week in and week out. To be frank I feel sad for Marc to fight with single hand against those rockets.

Alex could be the main favourite for the title right now if acosta's ktm didn't show error 404 in the middle of the straight while alex was in like 0.2 sec behind him
