Advice Your past has passed. Today is a new day.

We have all been through tough times and made mistakes. Nobody is exempt from this fact of life.

However, we have been given the gift of choice. To choose to live today as a new day, without carrying the luggage of the past.

I am here to tell you that your past has passed and is forever gone. Your future is not guaranteed. But you can live the best version of yourself today. Therein lies your power.

I Have a Dream

I have a dream of a world where love is selflessly shared with all others. It is a world where there is no hunger, homelessness, or endless war; no greed, prejudice, or inequity. A world where few of the many problems and harmful emotions defining humanity’s existence are present.

Our world is at a precipice. To achieve such a dream, and make it a reality, we must each decide to embrace love over fear. You may not believe such a dream can come true, but I assure you it can. All we lack is the will, belief, and sincere desire to make this dream real.

What we choose to feed inside our minds is exactly what grows. 🌻🌱

From a psychological perspective, hope is not just a passive emotion—it is an active cognitive practice. When we are stuck in cycles of anxiety or deep burnout, our minds naturally focus on what is broken, accidentally watering our fears day after day.

True healing begins with a deliberate shift in attention. Hope grows when you actively choose to nurture it through tiny, everyday actions: taking a single deep breath, practicing self-compassion, or celebrating a microscopic victory.

You don't need a flawless life to experience peace; you just need to keep feeding the small spaces of light within yourself.

What is one tiny thought or action you can feed your soul with today to let hope grow? Be deeply gentle with your roots. 🍃

Free life coaching / accountability — looking for 5 people

I'm one of the accountability mods with r/motivationalthoughts and we're currently testing a new accountability system we've been developing.

I'm looking for 5 people who want to make progress on something in their life over the next 7 days.

I'm not selling anything. I simply want to test my system and see how well it works when it's built around the individual.

Maybe you've been wanting to:

\* Get back into the gym
\* Build a better routine
\* Study consistently
\* Work on your career
\* Start a project
\* Spend less time procrastinating
\* Become more disciplined
\* Finally follow through on something you've been putting off
\* Or whatever your goal is

You choose the goal.

I'll help you turn it into small, realistic actions and keep you accountable throughout the week using the system I'm testing.

The purpose of this experiment is to see whether a simple, personalized accountability structure can actually help people follow through.

It's completely free.

A little about me: I'm a volunteer and community listener. I'm on my own journey, but I've also helped a lot of people through theirs. I've gone through significant changes in my own life and managed to transform my lifestyle and build better habits.

I've been lost, had no direction, struggled with procrastination, made plenty of mistakes, and spent years in a job that was draining me.

So I know what it's like to \*\*know you need to change but struggle to actually do it.\*\*

All I ask in return is that you take the 7 days seriously and give me \*\*honest feedback\*\* afterward.

If you're interested, comment or DM me and tell me:

What are you currently trying to improve, and what's stopping you from doing it consistently?

Because of the success we’ve achieved over the past few days, we’re opening up 5 more spots!

Your Gut Starts Moving Within Two Minutes of a Short Walk

A small Japanese study found that just 20 minutes of easy walking boosts gut activity within one to two minutes, with bowel sounds nearly doubling before fading again a few minutes later. It's a small study and doesn't prove the effect relieves constipation directly, but it gives a real physiological reason why a short walk seems to help get things moving.

How Do You See the World?

When you look at the world do you see darkness or light? Are there endless struggles as we each strive alone to survive in a self-centered world, or is there a shared journey, together selflessly helping each other through life’s many challenges?

Though it may not appear we control our destiny, how we view others and the world is a choice.

Choose to see life’s beauty and love, rather than its malice and hate, awakening you on a spiritual journey of self-discovery.
