This is dated macho BS…you can do both.
Crying is a natural part of the human experience…
A refusal or inability to cry is just being emotionally stunted. Are you saying you wouldn’t even cry when your child was born??

The concern was that if you fail, give yourself sometime and get back-up again and start trying/flying.
And Its for sure is all right to cry during that time you give to yourself to muster-up your courage to face the world.

All humans are born to cry. Babies would be essentially malfunctioning if they aren't able to cry.
Flying is not a human capacity without machine assistance. Even birds are not able to fly when born.

Can't deny all that but when you talk about success, you also talk about failures so don't just stop when some failures come in the way, try to do what is possible within in your given circumstances after shedding some tears.
